Hello! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, I appreciate that you have many dental options in the San Jose area and I hope to show why this dental office is your best choice.
I grew up in a dental family; my father was an orthodontist in Los Gatos for many years. Growing up, my sisters and I worked in our father’s office, doing lab work, assisting chairside and ensuring the office was spotless at all times. This was when my passion for dentistry began.
I attended University of California at Berkeley and received an undergraduate degree in biochemistry. I enrolled at University of California at San Diego where I worked to achieve a Master’s degree in bioengineering. From there, I studied to attain my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of California at San Francisco. I am a proud UCSF dental alumnus and know that my education has provided a firm foundation for keeping up with the many changes in dentistry.
I dedicate myself to a high-level of continuing education that far exceeds requirements for license renewal. I have a passion for learning new techniques, using new materials, upgraded equipment and systems to perform the most modern dental techniques for my patients. I take the time to educate you about your treatment options and provide realistic expectations and results. When I am not in the office, you can find me at dental meetings, seminars, workshops and study clubs. Most importantly, though, I value the long-term relationships that my team and I have with our patients. I strive to understand your health goals so that I can create a custom treatment plan just for you.
In my spare time, I love hiking with my husband, visiting with my three adult children and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I also enjoy bicycling; I have ridden double centuries and bicycled to Los Angeles in two days.
At this office, we laugh, we smile, and we love what we do.
From our dental family to yours, we welcome you.
