Meet the Team

Tracy, RDH

After caring for patients as a registered dental assistant for 15 years in the Bay Area, I decided to go back to school to become a registered dental hygienist (RDH). I graduated from the Fresno City College Hygiene program in 2014. I am passionate about making a difference in our patient’s dental health by providing a professional level of dental care and education. I'm always delighted when patients return with improved oral health and a smile on their face.

I enjoy spending my free time with my son, daughter and husband. I also like traveling, shopping and entertaining families and friends by having hosting fun gatherings. I recently picked up a new hobby, learning how to cook! Right now, I'm happy if the food turns out edible. I always appreciate getting tips and tricks from my patients.

Mary, Patient Coordinator

Mary has worked in the dental field for over 30 years, she started her career as a front desk coordinator in a one operatory practice. She has worked at Dr. Shiba’s office since 2012, where she’s loved getting to know the patients. She is the first face a patient will see when they walk into the office and patients soon come to realize that she is always smiling and ready to help. Mary not only ensures patients’ treatment and scheduling questions are answered, but she also coordinates dental insurance plans to ensure patients are maximizing their benefits, saving them time and money.

In Mary’s spare time, she enjoys attending country concerts, cooking, and gardening. Now that her two children are adults, Mary loves escaping to the central coast beaches with her two pups, Peanut and Buttercup.

Leighann, DA

Leighann has been in the dental field for 19 years and joined Dr. Shiba’s team in 2017. She is a helpful team member, who has experience in both assisting and administrative roles. It is very rewarding for her to help in all facets of the office while helping her patients with their smiles.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and family. Some of her hobbies are shopping, arts and crafts, and learning to bake. She also likes to travel whenever she can.
