You can also get your tooth chipped when you bite into hard substances like ice. This will also distort the shape of your tooth. Note that the treatment for a chipped tooth depends on the size and location of the chip. It can be treated by a minor procedure or a more invasive approach like dental surgery. Regardless of the size or condition of your chip, it always important to get your tooth checked at our offices.
