Cosmetic procedures are crucial because they help correct a number of aesthetic issues. These include broken, mishappen, discolored, chipped, misaligned, worn-out, and gaps between the teeth. As a result, they improve your smile and self-consciousness. Here are some of the cosmetic procedures:

Teeth Whitening

This is the most popular and simple cosmetic procedure, and it needs only one visit to the dentist. You can also whiten your teeth at home using over-the-counter products or a dentist-dispersed home kit. The process whitens or brightens discolored or stained teeth. The dentist first removes the debris, plaque, and tartar before applying a bleaching gel for a lighter shade.

Dental Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom-made coverings installed on the front teeth's surface after removing the enamel. They change the shape, color, length, and size of your teeth, giving you an improved smile. Veneers are usually made of tooth-colored resin composite or porcelain; hence they closely resemble your natural teeth. They help to resolve various cosmetic problems such as injured, cracked, and crooked teeth.

Dental Implants

Implants are typically used in replacing injured or missing teeth. The dentist places a tiny titanium replacement tooth screw into the jaw of the lost tooth. The implants mimic the surrounding teeth since you cannot distinguish them from the surrounding teeth.

Bonding

Dental bonding is a tooth-colored resin material placed on the tooth and hardened with a laser or ultraviolet light, bonding the component to the tooth. The dentist then shapes, trims, and polishes the tooth. Bonding is used to repair cracked, chipped, decayed, and misshapen teeth.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and Onlays are also referred to as indirect fillings. They are manufactured in the dental lab using porcelain, gold, or composite materials. Inlays and Onlays are used to fill moderate or mild tooth decay. Inlays are put on the tooth surface where there is no damage to the tooth cusps. Onlays cover the whole tooth's surface when a cusp or a large part of the tooth is damaged.
